Meet Julia

Welcome Friends,

Hello! Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Julia Bettencourt. I reside in the Central Valley of Northern California with my husband. We have three grown children.

I enjoy writing, refinishing furniture, and working on making my home a soft place to land.

I have had a website in one form or another for almost 20 years, but as I age, I find that less is definitely more, especially when it comes to being online. Less time online helps me steer my creativity and focus my life in a more meaningful way.

So, while others are all about growing their blogs and websites, I am all about reducing my website and my social footprint. If you are a long-time visitor, you will notice that I no longer have the enormous amount of content available as I had in the past.
