 | For one 12 x 12 sheet Cut 2 pieces of card stock to 5 1/2 by 6 inches. Cut one piece of card stock 12 x 3 inches.
For two 8 1/2 x 11 sheets If you are using two sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 to make your project, cut 2 pieces of 5 1/2 by 6 but cut the long piece 11 x 3. You can make them smaller or larger than 3 inches if you want. Depends on how deep you want your box. |
 | Score 3/8's inch on each side of the long piece (12 x 3 or 11 x 3). . |
 | For 12 x 12 Sheet Score 3 inches in on each side crossways on the long piece (12 x 3).
For 8 1/2 x 11 sheets Score 2 1/2 inches in on each side crossways on the long piece (11 x 3). |
| Cut in at the 4 cross sections just into the 3/8's score line on the scored long piece. |
 | Notch out triangles where you've cut in at the cross sections being careful not to cross the 3/8's score line or you will cut into your box.. See photo. |
 | Place Sticky Strip on the 3/8's edges. |
 | Fold at the score lines. |
 | Place one of the 5 1/2 x 6 inch pieces evenly on the Top Note Die. |
 | Run through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine |
 | Use the Corner Rounder on the top corners of the 5 1/2 x 6 pieces. The top corners only! This is an optional step:) |
 | Remove the Sticky Strip from the middle of one side of the long strip. Apply the back 5 1/2 x 6 piece. |
 | Remove the Sticky Strip from the other side and apply the 5 1/2 front piece (where you have cut out the top note). |
 | Remove the remaining sticky strip and adhere the sides. |
 | Your gift box is almost complete. |
 | Cut a 5 1/4 x 5 3/4 piece of acetate. (Stampin' Up! calls their acetate sheets, Window Sheets.) The clear ones are on page 158 of the catalog. The printed window sheets are on page 169.
Add a few small pieces of Sticky Strip to adhere it inside of the front of your box. |
 | Your box is complete! These are a great size for 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 cards and envelopes or any type of small gifts. |
