• You can hollow out mini pumpkins, gourds or apples to make candle holders. For mini pumpkins and gourds, you can hollow out just enough to push a votive in or hollow out most of the inside and put in a tea light.

  • Use hay or straw bales. Please be careful because of allergies and also keep the display a good distance from any food serving as the smell of hay can sometimes be overwhelming.
  • Add in mums or any fall flowers, cornstalks, a bushel basket of apples or leaves.
  • Use your imagination and put several fall items together.
  • Put a drop cloth down under any hay or cornstalks you may use. It will make clean up a lot easier. You can cover any showing edges with leaves.
  • Use fake or floral fall leaves and not the real ones because of clean up.
