Happy Fourth of July Handout

Below is a handout for you to print out.  See what kind of  “firecracker” attributes you have.  

I put the lyrics to “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee” on it and used the punctuation on the lyrics from one of my hymnals because there were so many different variations on the internet that I didn’t want to just copy and paste it.  Thought it was safer to go with what was in the hymnal.

Red, white, and blue decorations

Check your dollar stores for inexpensive decorations.

Turn paper/cardboard Uncle Sam hats upside down to hold plastic silverware or silk flowers and mini flags for centerpieces.

Check with the ladies within your group and see if anyone collects Americana décor for you to display.


Icebreakers

Outdoor games such as croquet, horseshoes, sack races.


Naming Presidents.  


You’ll need paper and pens.  

See who can list several of the presidents in order such as the last 10 or the first 5.

Naming Presidents Variation.  


Have your ladies list as many presidents as possible without having to put them in order.  

Set a time limit.
