Women's Ministry Theme

This theme is inspired by the quietness of the forest.
It focuses on our personal worship and praise with an emphasis on our Quiet Times with the Lord.

Mushrooms – Toadstools
Use twigs to glue along edges of any signs used.
Flowers Butterflies Forest Animals (birds, foxes, bears, raccoons, squirrels, deer, owls, etc.)
Use animal garden statues such as frogs, squirells, bears, etc.
Spraypaint "critter" figurines from the dollar store with one color of paint such as all white.
Moss covered vases, urns, candleholders, stones, etc.
Vase fillers (smooth stones, twigs, grasses, leaves, moss)
Vines down table centers.
Small log slabs for candle lifts
Tree topiaries Aarrangements with lots of green moss
Natural arrangements (grasses, twigs, etc.)
Use a brown paper runner down the center of your tables.
Use a brown burlap material runner down the center of your tables.
Make up an animal track matching game.
Application: How much time we spend in our Bible and in prayer results in the tracks we make in life.
Do you think people can spot that you are a Christian by the tracks you leave behind?
Guess the Number
Fill up a jar with gumi bears.
Allow everyone a chance to guess the number.
Give a prize to the one closest to the actual number.
Little Mrs. Hood and Her Quiet Time
The message is that things will try to hold us back from taking that time to spend with the Lord each day but we just have to keep at it.

Tag Idea - Use a tree or forest animal rubber stamp on your tag.
Birdseed - Package in mini envelopes or mini glassine bags.
Chocolate bird nests
Anything with a forest critter attached. (butterfly clip, etc.)
Forest animal shaped iced cookies such as a bear, fox, etc.

Just for Fun
Go for a walk in the woods as a group.
Hold your meeting at a park.
Do a "natural" craft such as twig photo frames or modge-podging print-outs of Bible verses to wood.
Having daughters at a Mother-Daughter Banquet with younger girls present?
Have some forest animal coloring pages available.
Search online. There are lots to choose from.
