Decorating

Color:  bright summer colors - yellows, oranges, lime greens.

Use summer items to make a fun atmosphere.

Swimming tubes/rings

Beach balls

Sand buckets filled with flowers

Surf boards

Baseball bats and balls

Beach towels

Clear glass containers filled with sand and sea shells. Place votive candles in middle.

Vases of daisies or any type of summer flowers.

Displays of fresh fruit

Seashells in clear dishes 

Make a large (wall size) paper sun with large rays.

Wading Pool Focal Point 

Fill a kid's size wading pool with sand buckets, sand shovels, beach ball, sea shells, etc. or fill with a little water and place in fake lily pads, frogs, etc.

Summer Mural

Make a large mural with a beach and sunset scene.

Buried Treasure:


Fill a small kid's size swimming pool (or small plastic tub) with sand. Bury wrapped treasures for doorprizes or burry the doorprize tickets for everyone to dig up when they arrive.

Small Sand Shovels filled with candy and tied up with cellophane and ribbons.

Add saying such as "Bubble Into Summer" Jump Rope - with saying such as "Jump Into Summer" or "Jump Into Fun At Our Ladies Group"

Ice-cream cones filled with candies and wrapped up with cellophane and ribbons.

Sundae dishes (you can find the plastic ones fairly cheap) filled with candies and tied up with cellophane and ribbons.
