What if?

Postby tanja » Sun Oct 18, 2009 12:08 am

A month ago, I started secret isters for a first time. Itwas on my heart for a long years and now I got a chance to do it. ther is 14 women involved and we split the names among us. I didn't invovled womens who were not ready to be comited to this kind of program. But one lady who showed up recently started dating a guy who is not christian and doesn't want God at all and they've been involved in sexual sin, so pastors needed to axclude her from the felowship. So, I need also to exclude her from this program, too. I have another woman who might be willing to get in program instead of the first lady, but my question is: what if the first lady has me for a sicret sister? How could I solve that? If she has someone elese that's ok, I could just exchange names with two ladies, but what if that's me? The program already lasts for a month(I plaend it to go for 3 months- to Christmas), so I don't want to start it from begining.
Please let me know what you think??? Thank you! :?:

Dear Tanya, I'm kinda confused on what your asking? This lady your concerned about why would you and your pastor exclude her from the fellowship and secret sister? We all fall short, we all sin. Church is not only for Christians. Woman's ministry in my opinion should be open for anyone whom wants to attend. Praise God she is attending Church as long as she is attending she has a chance in becoming saved. If you exclude her I fear she won't attend your Church anymore and she may never attend any Church because of the experience. she needs prayer and your love someday when she becomes a christian she may lead her boyfriend to Christ. If I misunderstood you please forgive me and let me know, there's probably more to your story then I realize on this subject.

Yes there is more to this story. Her boyfriend is not interested in bocoming christian, she is christian but continues into sexual sin with him and that is not good for the feloship(church). Read about the yeast in the Bible. But that is not subject here.

Has she been held accountable? I have a long ways to go in learning God's Word... the rest of my life! I enjoy reading the Bible I hunger for His Word I hunger to learn more and more I can't get enough of :sunny: Almighty God! How sad that she is a Christian doing what she's doing. I wonder what Jesus would do in this situation? Can you give me verses to look up in the Bible about what it says about this situation so I can understand and learn. She obviously needs prayer, sometimes I think we all need prayer because we all fall short, I do I strive to please the Lord and to be Christ-Like and I rarely sin but sometimes the flesh comes out and then I'm upset that I sinned praise God He forgives! I was told that all sin is the same to God that really surprised me because some sins seem worse than others. My asst. Pastor whom I witness sinning numerous times one day he talked about so and so shouldn't be on the board because they smoke I agreed but disagreed due to knowing his sins I thought to myself were all guilty of sin maybe none of us should be on the board! I always believed the best Christian people should be on board but we all sin none of us not even our pastors are perfect. If it was me dealing with that lady I would hold her accountable in a loving way and try to guide her and keep her in the WM to keep her in Church.
