Decorating

I am wanting to add something to our nursery and toddler rooms to make them a little brighter and fun. I do not want to spend a lot of money either. I am looking maybe for some hangings from the ceiling. I found some two sided Jesus loves me hangings that I could use. I thought of maybe adding rainbow hangings in with them. Maybe someone else has a better idea?

Much time has passed since this was posted, but I just saw it. What about going to a Teacher supply store and buying some bulletin board items. Our store has Christian display stuff now.

When I decorated my class room I went to a Christian store and bought cute colorful posters that were on sale. I like your idea of hanging things from the ceiling. Could have the kids help decorate the room. I often have hung up there Sunday school art on the wall.

They've started painting life sized murals on the walls in our childrens wing and rooms. A lady that has a talent for painting is doing it with some help of others. She is using an overhead to shine the picture she wants (Noahs' Ark, rainbows, clouds, etc) on the wall and then tracing over it with a pencil. When she has done that they just paint in the picture. In the nursery she painted the ceiling.

I love the idea of painting a mural on the ceiling since that is usually where the babies are looking!
