  • Word Image Stamp (Stampin' Up! Crazy For Cupcakes)

  • Tip: You can get two card bases out of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock. Cut in two so you end up with 2 pieces that are 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Score at 4 1/4 inches and fold on score line. You will end up with cards that are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 when folded.

Run off Cupcake Template. Find it here.

Using brown ink, hold a sponge over a piece of twine to die it brown. You could also use green instead if you'd like your stem green.

Take your Paper Piercer and poke a hole in the top of your "cherry".

Use a white gel pen to make a shadow on your cherry and then pull twine through the hole to make your "cherry stem".

Stamp your worded image on a piece of white cardstock using brown ink. I used a worded stamp from Stampin' Up! Crazy for Cupcakes set.

Punch out your worded image with the Scallop Oval Punch. Punch out a piece of blue cardstock with your Wide Oval Punch.

Place a foam mount (dimensional) on the back on your blue oval. Sponge the edges of your worded image with pink ink.Place the worded image on top of the blue oval piece to make your tag.

Use your Paper Piercer to punch a hole in the end. Use approximately 6 inches of Crochet Thread and pull through the hole and tie.

It's time to put your card together!

Place stick strip (or your favorite adhesive) on the bottom of your Cupcake Base. Place a piece of approximately 9 inches of pink ribbon underneath and center on your card leaving approximately an 1/8 inch space at the bottom of your card front. See photo for placement.

Tie your ribbon in a knot and cut off any extra ribbon with your scissors.

Finish adding your scallop cut-outs and "cherry".

Add your worded images by tying the crochet thread through the ribbon and cut off extra thread.

    You are finished!
You can see my blog post here where I created the same card but embossed the cherry on top.
