FAQ Creative Ladies Ministry

I get asked a lot about people using the photos from my website for use online.   I ask that you do not take any photos from the website other than the images which are in The Computer Room .

I take some of my own photos for the website but I do use a lot of free images from online as well.  Even though I make use of free photos I normally manipulate them in some way to use specifically on my website, but if you'd like to know where you can get the original, just ask.

Below are some of the places that I obtain the photos for the website when I don't have one of my own to use.

  • Pixabay (My favorite!)
I love this website!  Lots of great photographers sharing their work.  I follow several of my favorite photographers there.  Lots to choose from and the images require no attribution.  They have great ones to use for flyers and invitations for women's ministry.

  • Photo Rack
There are some great photos here but the originals are a little smaller in size than what I would like in some cases.  Still, it's a great place to find free photos.

  • Open Clip Art
Lots of clip art and illustrations to use here.  I make use of many of them on the social sharing images located in The Computer Room.

  • PicMonkey
I use my computer paint program (Jasc Paint Shop Pro) to manipulate and design my images with, but also I use PicMonkey when I am in a hurry or when I want to grab some quick labels and overlays to use.

Graphics and clip art I use for my printables are listed on the individual printable pages.

Thank you to all of these wonderful places that provide free photos!
