Kite Party Event Theme

I loved flying kites when I was a kid. We would take them out in the country fields and fly them. It was always so much fun, although I’m not sure I really never got the hang of it too well. Mine seemed to either get tangled up with my brothers and sister or just would flop. But still, I have fond memories of flying them. We didn’t get kites too often, so it was always a treat to have one.

Kites Party Theme

I’m reposting the Kite Event Theme today. I used to have it geared for “Flying High with Prayer”, but you could go so many directions with it. How cute would a little boy’s birthday party be with kites as the theme. Or how about a baby shower with lots of pastel kites for decoration. So fun!

Please Use Caution: I want to interject here, that if you participate in actual kite flying, use safety precautions. You have to check your local laws. I know in some parts of the world it is banned because of injury to birds, other wildlife ,and other things. I think in the U.S. the restrictions are that it has to be less than so many pounds and can’t go only so high, but look up any kite laws and ordinances and use common sense by only flying them in empty spaces with no trees, power lines, or wildlife. For a party, you probably are just going to use kites as a theme and for decoration, but I just want you to be cautious.
