Flamingo Theme Party Planning

I’m calling this a “party” theme because it is really hard to use a flamingo theme without it being festive. Flamingos make me happy. They are bright, vibrant, and bring joy just to watch. These beautiful creatures God created also teach me so much. So, hence, this is a party theme!

Flamingo Event Concept

The event themes on the website can be used for showers, parties, women’s ministry retreats and activities, or church functions. Each theme will have one or several possible spiritual applications. I give you lots of info and ideas—You pick just a few to enhance your event. More ideas can be used for showers and parties, but less is always more for ministry events.

  • Tray with flamingo and pink items
    • Photo of flamingos in frames

    • Pineapples (if for summer)

Door Prize Giving to Break the Ice

  • Give a small door prize to anyone wearing pink.

Door Prizes

  • Flamingo garden stake
  • Pink journal

  • Fresh pineapple–if doing a tropical theme direction (tied up with a big ribbon)

Just for Fun

Wear Pink

  • Have everyone wear pink.
  • Give a door prize to the one wearing the most pink throughout their outfit.

Group Project
Concentrating on those not feeling in the pink.

  • Supply cards for everyone to sign for those sick in your church.
  • Be sure to have someone designated to deliver them throughout the week or have stamps ready to have them mailed.

Food and Serving

  • Serve all pink foods…pink cookies, pink icing on cupcakes, etc.
  • Hostess has a pink “Snowballs” snack.
  • Tropical Punch
