Punch Art Valentine’s Key Card
Okay, I’ve been a little “punchy” lately. Yesterday I made skeleton keys with the Stampin’ Up! punches. Just got the idea in my head and had to try. Thought they’d look cute with some Valentine’s cards–you know–key to my heart and all that:)
I made one for a card but then made a larger key (bottom photo) just for the fun of it! That one turned out about 9 inches or so long. I thought it would look cute tied to a large gift bag or something or just for a Valentine’s decoration.
The card’s X’s and O’s are the Stampin’ Up! Rub Ons (The “Chit Chat” Set). I had gotten those Filigree Designer Brads from SU and was dying to use them on something, so I thought they’d make a cute doorknob for my door card.
The punches used on the keys were the Scallop Circle, Curly, Scallop Border, Circles (1 1/4 and 1 3/4), Round Tab, and Handhelds (1/8 and 1/16).

I think with all the punches available today and all the ways you could do these, they could be a really creative project.
Happy Crafting,
Julia

I love your key idea. I am having creative blog. Perhaps you can help. The women ministry at our church is hosting a women retreat. In previous years I have put welcome note cards on the beds. I want to do something different to welcome them, however I am out of ideas. Any suggestions. (our theme is Walking Triumphantly in your Season)
