Punched Sheep Barn Door Card

Awhile back when I was making the Punched Piggy, I fooled around with the punches and made some sheep too.  I’m just now doing something with them.

I made this card using the Small and Wide Oval Punches and Petal Flower Punch (Stampin’ Up!)   I just sponged the edges of the sheep pieces and put them together.  The eyes are just dotted on with a white gel pen.

The barn door is made by cutting 3/4 inch strips of cardstock, sponging the edges, and then placing them on the card base (Basic Gray cardstock).

The ribbon on the girl sheep on the card is a light pink (Pretty In Pink) but it’s hard to tell in the photo.   It gives it just a pop of color.  I thought the “A Perfect Pair” wording from the  “Chit Chat” Rub Ons was appropriate for these cuties for an anniversary card.

To the right are a few more sheep I made but they are not on a card or anything.  Just wanted to show you how different they can look using the Creamy Caramel ink to sponge the edges instead of the black.  I think I’ll put some on Valentine goody bags and make some cute little sheep puns such as love ewe”, “Ewe are special”, etc.:)

Happy crafting,
Julia
