Pretty Brown Bag Pockets

Hello Creative Friends,
Today I’m sharing a fun craft that you could do for any of the women’s ministry themes on the website.  This one is for a coffee theme.   I put in a small bag of coffee and a few coffee stirrers.   This is made with an over-sized lunch bag (12 3/8 x 6 1/4 x 4).  They are just folded up to make a pocket.

Stamps and Paper Used:  Verve Delightful & Delicious Stamp Set, K&Company Designer Paper.

You can see the empty pocket below.  I folded the bag in half to form the pocket and then  around 2 inches down for the front hangover.  You can just punch holes and run ribbon around and through to hold them together or if you want them more sturdy or make sure tiny items don’t fall out, you can add 1/4 Sticky Strip to the sides.

Women’s Ministry Tip:  You can make these up for your women’s events, put in your schedule, special speaker information, theme song sheet, small notebook for notes, pen,  nametag, or any info you need for your event.

I’ll be sharing some more of these next week done up for some different women’s ministry themes on the website.  They are fun projects.  I guess because it’s always fun to make something useful and pretty out of something so plain as a brown lunch bag!

Also for those interested, I was able to get some more of the devotionals and other pages reposted on the main website today.  The list is on the main page today.

Have a creative day,
