Hello Creative Friends,
Today’s share is a Poinsettia Flower Pot Card.  If you are not familiar with a flowerpot card, it is a folded base to resemble a flowerpot with a tag type pull out card that fits inside.

My poinsettias are made with the Stampin’ Up!  5-Petal Punch–one green layer and two red layers.  I scored the petals on the red layers and gently squeezed them to give them dimension.  They are put together with a brad in the middle.  The tag wording image is from the Snow Swirled stamp set.

The tag inside is 4 1/2 by 2 1/2 (Chocolate Chip) with an inside layer of 4 1/3 by 2 1/3 (Whisper White).   This is for a friend so I left my tag inside blank so I could write something out but you could also stamp an image or wording there if you wanted.

Below you can see the diagram for the folds for the flowerpot itself.   Fold the small fold outward to form your rim of your pot and the other fold inward to form your flowerpot base.

Tip:  A gift card will fit on the pull out tag by just adhering it with a pop up glue dot.
