Christmas Project: Pop-Up Gift Card Holders

Hello Creative Friends,
Today I’m sharing another style of a gift card holder.  This comes together pretty quickly, depending on how much work you want to put into your embellishments for it.

I used the Snow Swirled stamp on this project, using Versamark to make a background on my card stock.  I embossed the large snowflake in the stamp set with Winter White embossing powder.  The scallop is vellum which I cut with the Pennant Die for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.  It was the perfect size for this snowflake.   The designer paper is Thoroughly Modern.   Ribbon is Polka Dot Grosgrain in Bermuda Bay to match the card stock.

Above is a photo of the inside of the gift card holder.  As you can see, the gift card just slides into a slit in the card stock.  Below are some diagrams to put your holder together.

Start with an 11 x 4 piece of cardstock and score and fold on lines as shown.Pop Up Gift Card Holder Step 1

Turn your cardstock over and add adhesive to one of the inner small panels.  Adhere the two small panels together.
