Thinking Pink Reminder Card
Hello Creative Friends,
As we are looking forward to October and Breast Cancer Awareness, now is the time to remind all of your women’s groups, girlfriends, moms, and aunts to have their mammogram. Today’s share is a fun way to make a reminder.
This little dress is made with the Stampin’ Up! Punches. The top of the dress is made with the Scallop Circle Punch by cutting around four of the scallops. The bottom of the dress is made with 3 cut-outs from the Wide Oval Punch.
Before I punched out the pieces, I used the Sweet Swirls Wheel Stamp on a piece of Pretty In Pink Card Stock with Whisper White Craft Ink. I basically covered the whole sheet by rolling rows slightly overlapping to make a background sheet to use for punching. You can find the Stampin’ Around Handles for the wheel stamps on page 189 of the catalog.
The sash is Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon with a rhinestone brad placed through it. The worded image I used is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. The base of the card is Basic Black Card Stock with a layer of Whisper White that I ran through the Big Shot (Die Cutting Machine) with one of the Backgrounds I Texturz Plates. I used the Corner Rounder Punch on all of the corners.
The Stampin’ Up! paper punches are listed on pages 186-187 of the current catalog.
If you are thinking “pink”, be sure to check out all the pink products from Stampin’ Up! for your awareness projects.
Blessings for your day,
