Breast Cancer Awareness Favors
Hello Creative Friends,
If you haven’t checked out the new Holiday Mini Catalog yet, there are some fun products, one being the Sweet Treat Cups (Item #116802). I’ve used one on today’s share.
This little favor is made with a 3 x 9 piece of card stock, scored at 3 and 6 inches and folded in and then out. Next I placed 1 3/4 inch holes with my circle punch into the first two segments, placing the Sweet Treat Cup through the top hole.
The Sweet Treat Cups have adhesive on them but I didn’t peel off the protection and use the adhesive because I wanted to place a bookmark inside my favor and make a sliding door instead. I used sticky strip on the two edges of the card stock (on the segment where the Sweet Treat Cup was positioned through, adhering it to the second card stock segment with the other punched hole.
This gave me an opening in the top which I slid my bookmark through. When slid out, it allows the candy to escape.
The simple bookmark is made with the Ribbon of Hope stamp, one of the $10 and under stamps from Stampin’ Up! I just made the saying on my computer. I made sure the bookmark was flat with no dimension so it would slide easily.
The “clock” is just thin strips of card stock for the hands with a half-back pearl adhered with a glue dot on the Sweet Treat Cup.
Be sure to check out the other pink products from Stampin’ Up! for all of your Breast Cancer Awareness projects.
Have a creative day,
