Back To School Bookmarks
Hello Creative Friends,
Well, if you haven’t been in to my main website today, it’s been updated with some new things for Women’s Ministry. Take some time and go back to school!
I finally got a new devotional up, “Flutter By“, a little lesson from butterflies, and there’s some new pages of Women’s Ministry helps all revolving around going “back to school” and getting back into gear with your Women’s Ministry church groups.
Keeping to the same theme, today I’m sharing one of the bookmarks I made. What a simple and easy project. For this I just used card stock 2 x 5 for the base. I used my Corner Rounder Punch from Stampin’ Up that I recently purchased. For years I’ve just cut around corners. It always amazes me how one little tool can simplify things so much. That punch is $6.96, item #109047 on page 186 of the catalog.
The faux buttons are made with the Sizzlets Buttons #5 for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine tied with crochet thread. The letters are from the Schoolbook Serif Alphabet and the apple on the scallop is from the Tart and Tangy stamp set.
For the rest of the week, I’ll be posting various bookmarks and clips and I’ll be using them as incentives for those who complete the Women’s Ministry History Assignment on the website. If you are a pastor’s wife or involved in the women’s ministry in your church, go check it out. I’ll be randomly choosing some of those who send in their homework to send a bookmark to. Still not sure how many I’ll be giving away.
Bookmarks are a great idea as favors for the Head of The Class Women’s Ministry Theme.
Be sure to stop into my main page for a little Back To School fun.
Have a creative day,
