Back To School “Lunchbag” Favors

Hi Creative Friends,
I’ve been trying to make my Sizzix Big Shot dies go farther by finding more uses for them.  Today I’m sharing another project with the Bag With Scallops XL Bigz Die for the Big Shot.  This time I just cut off the scallop flap and assembled the bag.  On one I punched holes and brought ribbon through.

I thought this made a cute “lunch” bag which could be used for the Back To School Women’s Ministry Them on the main website.  Also, these would be great filled with goodies as Teacher Gifts.  These are only around 3 and 3/4 inches high and about 2 and 1/2 inches wide.  I know it’s always hard to tell by photos.  They are cute and mini.

When you use the Card Stock from Stampin’ Up! it makes these projects just so sturdy and crisp.  (Card Stock is on pages 155-159 in the catalog)   I love how these dies cuts turn out.  Be sure to stamp first before assembling if you want to stamp directly onto the bag.

The apple image is from the Tart and Tangy stamp set.  That’s item #111514.  It’s a favorite of mine.  So fun!

Hey!!! This makes such a pretty lunch bag! I’ll have to try your version of using this die as well!

BTW, congrats on winning the Wow contest. I remember seeing your project in the mag – I thought it was really cute and clever!
