Bag With Scallops Treat “Bag”
Hello Creative Friends,
Yesterday I shared a Treat Box with the Bag With Scallops Bigz XL Die for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. Today, I’m sharing with you a Treat “Bag” that’s easy to make by just altering the die cut just a little bit. These were quite fun and went together quickly.

Just run your Bag With Scallops Bigz XL Die through the Big Shot and cut off the scallop part (where it creases). Put it together as usual (facing the creases inward on the sides so they aren’t seen. Do not crease them.) and add a handle with brads. Decorate as desired. Isn’t that easy?!
On one of mine I used my Scallop Edge Punch around the top before I put it together. You can make your handles as long or as wide as you want.
The Soft Suede one has some of our new Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper on it. The paper in that package is so pretty! (Item #115673, page 163 in the catalog). The leaf image is from the Autumn Days stamp set and the worded image is from the Herb Essentials set.
The butterfly on the Melon Mambo bag is from the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die for the Big Shot. Remember, if you purchase the Big Shot during my birthday week (July 26-31), my husband will give you the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die for free! You must purchase directly from me and not through my Online Store to qualify, so email if you are interested.
Can’t you see these bags for every holiday? What cute party favors they’d make filled with candy and goodies! Just be sure if you want to stamp directly on the bag itself that you do it before you assemble it.
These would be great favors to go with the In The Bag Women’s Ministry Theme on the website.
