Summer Beach Card

Hello Creative Friends,
I was working on some more summer cards with the bear from the Under the Stars Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! like I used in my post the other day.    My daughter suggested I make the bear have a hula skirt so this was done at her suggestion:)

Hula Bear Card

The general directions to the palm tree are found here.  The sun is made with the Sparkle Sizzlit for the Big Shot (Die Cut Machine) with an Inch Circle Punch cut out for the middle.

The lei is made with the Trio Flower Punch and the hula skirt is just a piece of More Mustard Card Stock with slits cut with scissors.  The sand is torn pieces of Confetti Cream Card Stock edged with ink.

Click on the thumbnails below to see a couple more of my summer bear cards.   Both the Under The Stars and the Just Beachy stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! are used on these.  That bear’s been burying himself in the sand and fishing in the ocean:)

These are adorable! I just got this set and am thinking of CASEing (with full credit to you, of course!) your hula bear for the swap at our next demo meeting. Thanks a bunch for the adorable ideas!

  • I Love Love Love the palm tree. Living in Florida, we were hoping there would be a palm tree stamp, or dye, but this is much better….
