Ice Cream Cone Card

Hello Creative Friends,
In case you’ve been wondering what happened to me, I’ve been sick and in bed for several days.  Hope you all had a great Mother’s Day.  I ended up spending part of my Mother’s Day in the dr’s office.  Not a great way to start the week but I’m just thankful to be finally shaking this terrible virus I’ve had.  I’m feeling so much better today.    My son was sick and out of school for over a week just before I got sick so it’s been a couple long weeks for me.

Wanted to share an ice-cream cone card with you that I did with the 1 3/4 inch Circle Punch and the new Scallop Oval Punch from Stampin’ Up!   You really do need to sponge the edges of the scoop pieces with ink in order for them to stand out right.

Ice Cream Cone Scallop Card

The waffle cone is made with the diamond shape Texturz Plates (Backgrounds #1) for the Big Shot (Die Cut Machine) and the “Be Happy” image is from the Darling Dots (Stampin’ Up!)

Hope you enjoy!
Julia

Oh I love your punch art on your blog. Thanks for sharing so many of them. But this ice cream cone, I keep looking at it, and want to change it to put the scallop oval behind the top piece. Well, I’m needing some punch art samples to look at and just thought I’d drop by. Again, thanks for sharing your punch art with us.
