Heart Punch Flowers and Butterflies
Hello Creative Friends,
We’re here in the middle of Sale-A-Bration for Stampin’ Up! so I thought I’d share a project using one of the items that you can get for free when you purchase $50 or more in product before March 31.
The Sale-A-Bration item I chose to use is the Polka Dot Punches Stamp Set. Also, on the this project I used the Full Heart Punch and the 1 3/4 and 1 1/4 inch Circle Punches which are on pages 184-185 of the Spring/Summer catalog.
All I’ve done for these is just stamp some of the images from the set on various colors of cardstock and cut them out with the punches. I sponged the edges of each with ink and put together flowers and butterflies with them.
The butterfly is so easy, just 2 heart punches, fold each towards the point (evenly on both), and adhere the point together.
You can view a larger photo of the flower arrangement here.
I think I’ll call these my “happy” flowers. They are just so ready to laugh, don’t you think?
On the card above, I roughed up the edges of the cardstock with the Stampin’ Up! Cutter Kit (a handy little gadget). It’s on page 189 of the catalog.
I’ve been making quite a few paper flowers, you can find the links to all of them here.
If you want to get in on Sale-A-Bration, hurry, because it ends on March 31. You can find the Sale-A-Bration information here.
Don’t forget to leave a comment on yesterday’s post for Blog Candy.
Have a wonderful and creative week,
Julia
