Easter Basket Craft

Hello Creative Friends,

I shared one of these Easter Baskets I made at the beginning of the week that I did with the Big Shot Top Note Die.  Today I wanted to show you another one I did, only I put the Top Note going in the other direction to make a taller basket.

Easter Basket CraftI also made the strips for the weave on this one just 1/4 inch.  The other one was using 3/4 inch strips.  I think I like this smaller weave better.

On this one I was a little more methodical in my weave pattern and made them exact.  On the other one I just weaved the strips every other one, here and there to make the pattern not so even.

The little birdie is from the Fun & Fast Notes stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

You can find the original basket post here if you need general directions for this project.

My SIL made some of these and she did them in pink and blue and when I saw them, I thought that they’d also be cute for a baby shower.  What about one filled with those little flowers that you make with baby socks?  You can see my SIL’s baskets here.

Have a creative day,
Julia

    Julia,

I love all of your Big Shot projects! You are so incredibly talented. I don’t know what you use for the box part of your vertical top note boxes, so I want to share with you what I use. I use the bag w/scallops die and cut off the scallop.

    Thanks for sharing your talent.
    Brenda
