Easter Basket Craft
Hello Creative Friends,
I shared one of these Easter Baskets I made at the beginning of the week that I did with the Big Shot Top Note Die. Today I wanted to show you another one I did, only I put the Top Note going in the other direction to make a taller basket.
I also made the strips for the weave on this one just 1/4 inch. The other one was using 3/4 inch strips. I think I like this smaller weave better.
On this one I was a little more methodical in my weave pattern and made them exact. On the other one I just weaved the strips every other one, here and there to make the pattern not so even.
The little birdie is from the Fun & Fast Notes stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I think that is one of their good investment sets because there’s 8 stamps included and several occasions you can use them for. That set is on page 54 of the catalog. I filled the birdie in with the Stampin’ Pastels (page 152 of the catalog).
You can find the original basket post here if you need general directions for this project.
My SIL made some of these and she did them in pink and blue and when I saw them, I thought that they’d also be cute for a baby shower. What about one filled with those little flowers that you make with baby socks? You can see my SIL’s baskets here.
Have a creative day,
Julia
