Certs Candy Candle (Again:)
I made this post the other day, but when I changed blog themes, something happened to it, so I’m reposting it again…
I’ve been making these candles for probably over 20 years for various Christmas banquets and such. Sometimes I’ve added tags to them that say “Jesus came to be our Light” for church Christmas banquets. I normally use pretty wrapping papers and ribbons on them but I thought I’d try one with some Stampin’ Up! cardstock and designer paper. You just wrap a Certs or Lifesaver Roll. I used Baja Breeze Cardstock from the Stampin’ Up! In Colors.
I had a terrible time photographing this little candle. You can’t hardly
see the Ski Slope designer paper I used as the band around it. It’s comes from such a pretty set of Stampin’ Up! paper that I had to show it to you so there’s a sample to the right. Click on the sample to see the whole set of Ski Slope Designer Paper.
I also added a stamped snowflake from the Snow Burst Set. The base is two scallops from the Round Scallop Punch with a thick candy coin sandwiched between. The flame is a Hershey’s Kiss of course:)

I am loving this idea. This is a must do for my Valentine’s Day project. I just have to find the coins. Thanks for an awesome share.
