Apron Papercraft Favor
Okay, on to aprons! I’m working on an Apron Theme to add to the Women’s Ministry Themes on the main website so wanted to share an apron favor with you. I did this from Jersgirl’s apron template. It’s the fourth one down in her third column.
I used the Bella Rose Scrapbooking paper from Stampin’ Up! to decorate mine. To make the neckline look a little more like an old fashioned apron I just used a 1 1/2 inch circle punch. I’m not sure how large that template was suposed to print out but even saving it to my computer first as she suggests, mine printed huge so I had to reduce it. My finished apron is approximately 3 1/2 wide and a little over 5 1/2 tall.
I made a Proverbs 31:10 verse tag for the pocket I made, but you could also add a mini recipe card or a card with your event information. Don’t you love blank templates that you can do anything to?
For the back of the apron, I scored and folded a piece of cardstock to cover the brad backs and also to stand it up.
Will let you know when I get the Apron Theme posted to the Women’s Ministry Themes page. I keep trying to work on it but keep getting sidetracked. I’ve been sick with a bad cold and cough for about a week and a half and am just starting to feel better.
Have a great day,
Julia

Julia, Love the Apron theme. Used your devotional “Ornament for Christ” for our Christmas tea at church. Somehow ended up in charge of the Spring luncheon also… lol Thanks for your inspirations. Carol Jaeger

Thank you very much for your ministry. I’m just one of the many women whom you have blessed with everything that you offer for free in this cite. May God richly bless you as you continue to bless others.
Thanks so much for this website. It has been a blessing to me for our Mother’s Day program. I am using this apron pattern for cards from the sunday school classes, recipe/scripture holders, and a making a fan (decorate both sides and insert a large craft stick at the bottom). Thanks again, and God Bless!!!!
Thank you so much for all you do to help make other women’s lives better and easier. I am a pastor’s wife, teach preschool sunday school, preschool children’s church, preschool youth group class, the director of our women’s ministry, I have a two year old, and have had to stay with my sick mother for nearly three years now. Your website definitely makes my life a little easier. God Bless You Greatly for All You Do!
Julia – I just wanted to thank you for your web site – It has been such a blessing. Whenever I need a program for our Women’s Program at church I know I will find just what I am looking for on your website. Blessings!
Several years ago for a circle general meeting/luncheon the craft group at the church rubber stamped paper and made aprons as favors. We folded the paper at the top instead of adding the back insert. When opened the effect was an apron view from both sides. This made the favor beautiful from both sides.
I just found your website and hope to talk our committee into using your Apron Skit for our Fall meeting. Thank you for sharing your ministry and creative ideas.
