October has arrived and with it we finally have some cooler weather here in California where I live.  Today’s high was only in the low 80’s.  I was so tickled when I woke up and it was only 60 some degrees in our house.

So many things are going on in October.  This starts the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.   I’ve had a “Pink Page” on my website for awhile, where you can find some pink Stampin’ Up! products and I also listed my “pink” awareness projects there as well.

We are also in the midst of National Hispanic Heritage Month which runs from September 15 – October 15.  It’s a time to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

I thought this was a fitting time to remind you that Stampin’ Up! does have a Spanish Supplement to our Catalog.  Feel free to view it in a pdf file or contact me to purchase your own copy.

October also marks the beginning of some new specials at my Stampin’ Up! Website.  Be sure to check them out on the Promotions Page.  Lots of fun things.  The release of Stampin’ Up!’s My Digital Studio, new “Deals of the Week” and other promotions, so be sure to check them out!

Hello Creative Friends,
I know some of you are wondering where I am.  I did send out an email  to my women’s ministry mailing list yesterday but wanted to drop in here and tell you all that I’m just busy this week with offline things.

I know so many of you get impatient if I don’t post a project every few days or so–Okay, you know who you are:)    I’m working on sorting, sorting, and even more sorting for yard sale stuff.  We’ve been cleaning out the garage and it’s still full of junk. 

Hopefully next week I’ll get back to normal.  I’ve got lots of cute projects done, just no time to take photos and upload.  That’s always the hard part for me.

Hello Creative Friends,
As some of you know, Stampin’ Up! has teamed with Build-A-Bear Workshops and will be coming out with new Build-A-Bear rubber stamps and Sizzix dies for the  Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.  These new products will be available September 1st with the release of the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Stampin’ Up! focused on these products at their Convention this year with the availability for demos to purchase an actual Stampin’ Up!  Build-A-Bear.  I didn’t get to attend the Convention, but my sister-in-law, Lene’e,  who is also a demonstrator went and was able to bring me back one.  I was so excited!

Isn’t it just so adorable?  I know you will like the rubber stamps and Sizzix dies that are coming out from Stampin’ Up! in this fun line.  Keep your eye out for them.
