Paper Doily Craft: Scripture Tags
Hello Creative Friends,
Today’s share combines my love for paper doilies and my ongoing mission to use up my paper-scraps! This would make a cute last minute Mother’s Day craft or would be great for any women’s ministry meeting. This is one of those very inexpensive projects as I got the doilies at the Dollar Tree and there were several in a package so they’ll go a long way for a lot of things. Also you can dig out your left-over ribbon and paper-scraps for this one.

I made the tag base with card stock and then took the doilies and cut them up to decorate these, along with some paper scraps. Then I used Mod Podge to cover them so the doilies wouldn’t lift up. I put on a couple coats of Mod Podge. I love that stuff!
I wanted to show you how fun these look with a holder. Great for women’s event tables. Of course if you put them in a holder you can’t over-embellish because your tag will get too top heavy even if you do use quality card stock for the holders. Find the holder directions here.
The scripture wording is computer generated. I used some Shimmer Paint on the edges of some of the wording circles and I like the look it gives. You can pick up the Scripture PDF here. They are made to be cut out with a 1 and 1/4 inch circle punch.
Have a creative day,
